Arjun (Raj) Manrai, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics, Harvard Medical School
Arjun (Raj) Manrai, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, where he leads a research lab applying machine learning and statistical modeling to improve medical decision-making. He earned his A.B. in Physics from Harvard College and his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. His research spans the role of artificial intelligence in medical diagnosis, the clinical use of genomic data and laboratory biomarkers, inherited disease, and reproducibility and safety challenges for medical AI, with work published in the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA.
